Do politics belong in government?

Mark Ferguson
Feb. 22, 2010

Today, politics and governance are used interchangeably; either term used when referencing the other and this sadly describes the United States Government, an oxymoron for there is nothing united in the federal legislature.

The Republican Party block any legislature in hopes of setting themselves up for future elections; for the Party's gain. The Democratic Party chose to stuff meaningful legislation with their own self-serving amendments; none of this serves the publics interest.

This is politics and NOT governance.

Do you want to be governed by a group of politicians, is there another way, why question the status quo?
